I can't believe no one has started a Mortal Kombat thread... Do you guys just not play it or something? This is the classic, bloodiest, most kick ass fighting game around.

hmm? it's gotta be one of the most interesting ones out there... compared to the ones i've played this is the only one with fatalities that i've seen now there could be others, also the graphics are good and they also had some form of rpg on there in armageddon.

Hmm, call me biased, but I kinda like Tekken. Mortal Kombat was really good during the old times though.

Smash bros. is the only fighter fro me. Actually I like Soul caliber a lot too.

Those are good games and i did do a speech over ssbm and why it was the best fighting game ever but Mortal Kombat is the one with the most gore and they have cool finishers and they come out for every system so you don't have to have a certain one to buy Mortal Kombat but whatever I guess

Well, I liked and played Mortal Kombat from the beginning all the way up till trilogy or 4 (whichever was later, I know I played both.) and then, Dark Alliance came out, which I've never had a chance to play, then Deception came out, which I also never had a chance to play, and now Armageddon came out, and without money, I just can't play it. Of course, I have plans on at least buying MK Armageddon, it just looks awesome, though I'm gonna have to get used to actually fighting instead of button mashing in a Mortal Kombat game, lol. Anyway, its not that I don't like it, its just that I haven't really gotten a chance to play an installment since before Dark Alliance, though I'd like to give it a try.

i didn't play trilogy except once or twice on the computer but i have played dark alliance through armageddon and i want to play shaolin monks.
