I just like Trolling on Fall out boy.
And actually I started this thread for people to post outside-advertisement music they like. Music that's not openly advertised but exists, bringing a nice, novel sound to their Genre.

O if thats the case I'm throwing E Nomine out there. E Nomine is a German musical project their sound could best be described as Dark Techno they emphasize keyboards, heavy beats, as well as choir for the chorus and eerie main vocals

Okay, so let me bring an interesting point. I think I saw that someone said "mainstream" music is music heard in the radio, and Mike said that if he hadn't heard some songs in the radio, they weren't considered mainstream to him but to the people who actually heard them on the radio.
Well... what about someone who NEVER listens to the radio, hm? Or who hasn't listened to the radio ever in their life? >____>

Well the general idea is music that would get on the radio.
And on a sidenote, i'm surprised this post got this many replies

It's a very interesting topic.
And I guess... there's a lot of music that gets on the radio, even little bands never heard of. It just depends on the station.

If a person never listened to the radio, his personal definition of mainstream music would likely be drastically different from a person that constantly did listen to the radio. Basically, this notion states that what is mainstream for some is not mainstream for others.

Just took a look at them, They have a sort of gothic tone but in the sence of being Halloween loving sort, instead of loathing life and all that. And listening to a bunch of their songs, they seem to like what they do, Honestly that was a very nice little surreal break from what I usually listen to Thanks Hades! www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9fddSLyf9YCreature Feature - A Gorey Demise A good comparison would be the music from A Nightmare before Christmas

You're welcome. I'm glad you liked them. Small band, not very known and very Halloween, monster-creature old fashioned themed, but instead of sounding cheesy and comical, they mix it up very well. I think I got Jake into them too. They're pretty good. I'd have to say Buried Alive is one of my favorite songs by them.
