Alright. It has been bugging me about what these "I like it on the blah blah blah" statuses on facebook mean. I decided to look it up. These are statuses to promote breast cancer but when they say I like it on the floor, they mean that's where they put their handbag. Now I'm all for perverted fun and finding a cure for breast cancer but seriously this is not going to do much. I guess if they get on the news again then maybe they'll get some more publicity. Honestly though, there are plenty of better ways to promote breast cancer awareness. Meh...

I've never had a Facebook account(or a Myspace account for that matter), so I've never heard of this. Sounds kinda silly though. Not sure I get the handbag thing.

I honestly don't know either. It's basically them saying I love my handbag on the floor but instead of handbag they say it. Supposedly by saying it instead of handbag will get guys thinking dirty and then they'll think about boobs and then they'll think to donate money to help fight breast cancer. I don't see the logic in it at all.

But why would you like your handbag on the floor? Someone could step on it.

That is a really good point. Some other places listed are the kitchen counter, couch, the car, the bed, the table, the hallway and so on and so forth. My roommate has left hers on the floor once or twice but mainly it's on the table. I found it in the kitchen once and her sandals were in front of the stove. So it's a fact that women put handbags anywhere. I'm the exception because I don't like handbags.

I like it under the bed.

Oh really now? Is that the only place you like it?

No. I also like it in the drawer, in the garbage, by the coat rack, in the dog's mouth, and in a box with a fox.

This is a really bizarre ploy for fighting such a serious illness. I don't even understand the whole "hangbag" part. It just doesn't make sense...also a statement doesn't raise much money. A statement works better for political and social causes rather than against an illness.

They also did one in January where women posted their bra color. Bitches are stupid.
