... has become a viable campaign tactic? Seriously, half the ads I've seen for this year's elections have been "HE SUPPORTED OBAMACARE"
Honestly i can't understand a thing about it at this instant. Alot of the policies he's put in have been good, some Not so much. (Though I do agree on the Health care change, especially since it gave me insurance till I'm 27)
I've been waiting for an add where someone talks about what they will do for the country or county or state, not trying to win the election bashing someone else's views.

It always makes me want to vote for the guy he is "bashing". I like most of Obama's policies.

Bashing is a classic political ploy. "Oh, he supports this guy, and this guy is bad!Vote me because....because...that guy is bad!" It is used by both parties, and it is awful. I am happy that its effect is starting to fade. It used to be a good scare tactic, but I do believe that people are starting to concern themselves with the issues more nowadays. People are tired of the bashing. In Florida elections, it has been especially rough. When Rick Scott and Bill McCollum were going at it for the nomination, it was rididulous. Don't know a single thing about Rick Scott other than his fraud in the health care business. As for Obama's policies, I started supportive, but has grown to be critical. He's not a bad man, but some of the things he has tried to do have not been quite that effective, detrimental on occasion. But that's for another thread.

Well since Obama's popularity rating has fallen because of many people placing high expectations upon him, by associating others with him, they lose popularity. Bill White, the Democrat who is running for governor of Texas, criticized Rick Perry, the Republican governor of Texas, for his criticisms of Obama as well as other things. Obama came down and Bill White did not meet with him. When campaigns are close there are just certain things that a candidate will do to get more votes.

Yeah, Democrats are avoiding Obama for the most part because people have gotten pretty upset with him. And that's not just Republicans. Moderates and Independents and even some Democrats are getting upset with him as well. He is not a popular guy right now.
