I hear it's a good installment to the Pokemon series, though admittedly it makes me wonder how many game boy games are going to come out before they finally make a full fledged 3D one.

Yo, one level away from Serperior, but dawg, I'm gonna stop it until it learns a couple moves, then evolve it. I need those moves early! This is the first game where I've been doing this tactic with Pokémon, and it's worked pretty well so far.

I like how I can reuse my TMs.

Being able to reuse TMs almost seems broken when you think about it. It eliminates that factor where you're like "Oh shit..I can only use this once better choose who learns it wisely" and allows you to just say fuck it and go crazy...I like it though

Yeah, it's neat. I still reserve TMs for near the end of a playthrough though..I like my Pokémon naturally learning their moves at first. Almost at the end, by the way.

So would you say this might very well be one of the best in the series or even one of the best Pokemon games you've ever played? Btw has anyone seen anything on the anime at all? I was thinking of checking it out real quick the other day just for the hell of it, but I never got around to it.

I haven't heard much about the anime, but the game itself is among the best in the series. It is difficult to rank it with all the nostalgia clouds around the first couple games. However, I personally believe it is better than Diamond and Pearl, as well as Ruby and Sapphire. The game did not disappoint one bit...it was actually quite a pleasant surprise for me.

I completely agree! I personally may even go far enough as saying it was better than the Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald series, but like you said, it's quite hard to really say and judge that because of all the nostalgia clouds in the way lol.

I actually meant to put Ruby/Sapphire, lol. I'm high as shit. It's hard to say for R/B/Y and G/S/C because of how long ago we played them. Black and White definitely fixed a lot of things and deserves absolute indication that the series has not fizzled out.
