I have to vent something, absolutely been irritating the hell out of me, and you can thank some over zealous tea party member for this who wasted 30 minutes of my time at work talking about something she knew NOTHING about.
Do people not realize that Taxes are the blood of the country? It seems to be everyone's big agenda to wave the word "Taxes" around like a Templar would wave around the name of a heretic. Political commercials are especially good at this! Taxes pay everything from law enforcement, some branches of medical care, the school system, museums and libraries, and a good long list of other services we tend to take for granted. Because of these blind tax cuts, some areas in the united states have put up a 'fee' you have to pay the fire department so they can save you from a fire. This is a fee you can't pay if it's an actual emergency. I read an absolutely DISGUSTING story of a family losing their home because they could not pay this fee. And the fire department only showed up to put out the fire when the neighbor's house caught alight. What if this carried over to law enforcement? Or they repealed the law that hospitals have to treat you if your wounded?
This is where this drives me crazy, This woman I had to deal with at work brought up illegals using the medical system being the reason some hospitals went bankrupt. Now the one thing I can't stand is when people put money before human rights. If someone is injured, and they seek asylum, we should help them. Why are people so hard up on this? The human race is becoming increasingly blind to one another when the good old American greenback comes into play.
Believe it or not, I still support the President on his policies, as they are still realistic, they still have to put into the idea that our county's cash reserve is limited, And here's where I draw my conclusion. A good portion of republicans are for lowering the taxes even more in an effort to create jobs, and they are also for cutting the funding off of many of the civil services we take for granted every day. In essence, they're trying to make our country anemic, choking off our country's blood and starving our major centers of any funding.
Be realistic people, We can't have our cake and eat it too, Someone has to pay for all this and in the end, It's going to be us, Not with cash, but with turmoil.
And goddamn don't let me get started on what that woman said about planned parenthood.
