In this thread, we will discuss Persona as a whole. Try to refrain from spoilers, please.
I finally got myself into the Persona games not all too long ago. About a year and a half ago, I played through Persona 1. Extremely archaic style, as it was a PS1 era first-person dungeon crawler. And as of last night, I completed Persona 3, and will probably start P4 as soon as I finish The Answer. (the extra chapter that comes with P3 FES.)
We've got an extremely enthralling series for anyone who is looking for a fantastic JRPG. All of the games are certainly pretty different, to the point where it's pretty difficult to compare one to another. So far, the ones I've played have had terrific gameplay, intriguing stories, memorable characters, and some of the most addicting soundtracks I've ever heard in a video game.
Really, I would just like people to talk with this about, as Persona 3 has had me fall in love with the series. It really reminded me of why I love JRPGs, as it's been a pretty dull genre for quite a few years now.
So, anyone else here play Persona and have an opinion to share?

Purchased 3 FES on the PSN a little while back, haven't started. I am certainly interested, but the long play time serves as both a blessing and a curse to me. While it is a wonderful utilization of spent cash to have a very long game, the said length may also conflict with other aspects of your schedule, and when a game gets played through a long span of time, it occasionally tends to lose its touch over time after repetition.
Despite that, I am certainly looking forward to playing when I get the chance.
