this book is awesome. well for the first part it totally rules. I dunno. a lot of people had different opinions about it. but anyway. it's a sci fi book and it's basically about how children are smarter than adults. so there's this little kid named Andrew but he calls himself Ender and he gets recruited by the government to fight in a war against these space aliens and all this crazy stuff happens. it's really good though. there were a couple boring parts when they talked about ender's training and blah blah blah. but for the most part it had a really good plot and good character development.
after it splits into two series. one of them is what happens to Ender after Ender's Game and the other one is based off of another character, Bean, whom Ender met in the space military training thinger. The series about Bean is more based off of military tactics and war strategies etc. the one about Ender is basically a continuation of his struggle and how he goes through all this emotional trauma over having to kill things when he's only a little kid (he's 6 when the series starts and turns 11 at the end of ender's game) and his brother and sister.
But yeah I'd recommend reading ender's game. it won all sorts of awards and stuff and it's a pretty good sci fi/fantasy novel.
