You know, a lot of people claim that Final Fantasy 7 was the best Final Fantasy ever, and they never even think to give the others a chance. Seriously, if you say best hero, they say Cloud. What happened to Squall, who fought an all-powerful sorceress, jumped into space, and even leaped through time to finish the quest? Best villain? They'll say Sephiroth. I thought Kefka was pretty damn evil himself (aside from the look.) Anyway, those are just two examples. Name your favorite FF game, villain, hero, AND A GOOD REASON!!! Ill start.
Game: Final Fantasy XII: New style of gameplay, and a great way to intrigue people into the series.
Hero: Squall: He depicted what the typical hero is. One who can love, care, pull through the toughest situations, lead, etc.
Villain: Kefka: Only villain ever to do what he said he was gonna do.

I say VIII was the best one. I thought the graphics, for it's time, during the CG part was phenominal. I cry every time I see how beautifully done it was. : )
Best Hero: I agree that Squall was the coolest hero.
Best Villain: For me it's a tie between Ultemecia and Sephiroth. Sephiroth was pretty badass, you gotta admit. I wouldn't say Ultemecia was badass, but she was certainly a pain in the behind. The first time I played through I thought I was going to crap myself if another form popped up. lawlz.

yeah, sephiroth was a badass, I agree with that. Hah, and Ultemecia had infinite transformations, but that didnt make her all that great. Honestly though, I picked Kefka from Final Fantasy 6. The dude looked like some female clown, but his mind was twisted as hell. he eventually reached god status basically, and he actually did devastate the world and everyone in it. were it not for kefka, sephiroth may be my favorite...

not the biggest fan as you know orville but i gotta say 6 was the best one.
kefka the best villain and locke is a kick ass hero in my book.

I've never played the final fantasy six but this kefka guy reminds me of kuja or whatever his name is from final fantasy 9... anyways
favorite game: tie Final fantasy Dirge of Cerberus and Final fantasy VIII because Dirge of Cerberus was something completely different than everything else and FFVIII had a great storyline and a lot of sidequests.
Favorite hero: Squall because of his limits and his bad ass attitude plus the fight scene for the beginning credits were great.
Favorite villian: Sin and Jecht or however you spell it. It was because while the whole time you were thinking Seymour was going to be the big bad final boss and your final boss/villian is the hero's father.

Kefka > Sephiroth > Dirt > Ultimacia and Kuja, plus all other FF villains

Man, Ultimecia was pretty crazy. Too bad I got stuck wondering what to do so that i was a really high level for her. Eh, if you had the right magic junctioned, you'd do fine in the battle though.
