I don't know about the rest of you, but I think this was the best movie ever. Well, when it comes to movies based off comic books. Maybe it was Heath Ledger--Rest in piece, the poor thing--that made the movie so freaking amazing. I walked off that movie theater and the first thing that came to my mind was, "...I want to see it again."
I must say, Heath Ledger was one of the best Jokers ever. He did a great job and pulled it off unmistakably well.

Seen it twice now...and yes I'm going to have to say it WAS the best movie based off a comic book I've ever seen as well. Sin City and 300 were great, but this movie was in a completely different league. Lot of brilliant themes. Acting was amazing as well, especially from Mr. Ledger. It's a shame he's gone. Christopher Nolan is a genius at Batman. All in all, my favorite movie in 2008, possibly the decade. If you haven't seen it yet, I strongly recommend it.

I've seen it twice as well. >_> Is it healthy to say I will see it a third time on Friday? Anyway, I must agree. 300 was a great movie as well, probably another one of my favorites, but I must say this has captured my attention in many ways. I wasn't that scared to go see it since I feared maybe a slight disappointment might have occurred, but I can't even find the slightest wrong thing in it.
I promise it will not be a waste of your money.
I wonder, though. When they make another one... as in, you know, continuation for this one with two face, I'm guessing... will they even put the Joker in it? And if they do, who will play it? Maybe it's just me, but I can't get over Heath Ledger being the Joker. The others have been pretty good, I won't deny, but... he did an amazing job.

The Pencil....It disappeared
Also I thought Daniel Day Lewis looked like a good choice...but Crispin Glover could be good too.

I might see it if they pay me for every time I have to see Heath Ledger's face.
I don't always understand why death turns CHOCOLATE!? into gold. Not that I'm using this movie as an example. I'd like to see it.

His death probably boosted the popularity lol...still it was a really really good movie all on it's own.

Batman got Ebola, but it's okay because bats and Ebola go together like Gene Kaufman and shitty designs.

Either choice looks like it could be a good recover. Nicholson is getting old.
One of my friends wondered if Nicholson had something to do with Heath's death... because, in an interview, Nicholson had said, "Well, I told him so," when he was asked what he thought about Heath Ledger's death.

Eh, Nicholson probably didn't do anything to result in his death. I think he just meant that as in the role of the joker is a pretty powerful and apparently dangerous one. Mr. Nicholson tends to joke around like that.

I told him that, but I think he's too paranoid and obsessed to believe me, I guess. Didn't Mr. Ledger had to take some anti-depressants or something because he got so into character?
