This pertains to alot of people in Florida, the next senatorial race involves a new independent. Charlie Crist.
This is big, we have a man who now speaks for the interest of the people, not a political party. The other runner, Marco Rubio's entire political standing is being opposed to President Obama. Rather then speak of what needs to be changed, he's run a few slander campaigns to rally the people.
Anyone else have an opinion on this close to home race?

While I do think part of Crist's motivation in becoming independent was to better his chances in the senate race, I also think he's quite the politician for making a decision based on what he deemed was the better option, and not what his political party said to do. I am, of course, referring to Senate Bill 6, where he vetoed a bill that was overwhelmingly passed by Republicans. Any politician that can make their own decisions while keeping the people in mind is a true politician to me. It's sickening to know that most politicians are not like this, and instead act like robots and vote accordingly by following their specific political party's platform. I fear that this is exactly what Marco Rubio would be. I'm not sure if Crist has much of a chance of winning, but he has my support.

With that knowledge at hand, I'd definitely give Crist my support. As Mike had said, it's good that he seems to make decisions based on what he truly believes to be a better option, as opposed to mindlessly following suit with the rest of your designated party. That really is something that I find quite admirable.

Anyone that balls that big surely has my support. I mean standing up for yourself in politics that takes balls particularly it it's against your party's will
