Ok me and Jared just finished Heavy Rain and I must say I was very impressed with it for quite a few reasons. 1. I found the story to be very good and liked that it kept you guessing constantly. 2. The quick time events system was very well put together in my opinion in terms of both fighting and escaping. 3. That nice little twist where you find out who the killer is. My head was ready to burst when we found out. 4. You will keep going back to find out all the different endings(or at least me and Jared will). 5. You couldn't help but get connected with some of your characters and their suffering.
Any thoughts by those who have played and beat it

It is a nicely put together game. Soe people complain that gameplay isn't all there, but you get it for the story. The QTEs are also nicely put in, where each one makes sense with what is happening. I plan to get it on my own (played it at a friend's house), but not for awhile.

As an IGN reviewer said.
"I went to disney land the day after finishing heavy rain, i saw everyone with bright smiles on their faces, they don't know... They. Don't. Know."
Honestly If I gave two shits about three shits about Sony, I'd get Heavy Rain.

He'd probabaly get it. Though Heavy Rain on PC sounds like it would be very complicated

It sounds like there could be an interesting difficulty system, where easier settings could use several keys, a normal settings can use about as many buttons as a PS2 controller, and a harder setting could use more keys. Then again, the game was about the story, not so much how difficult the QTEs were. Still, an intriguing concept.

indeed. Just the thought of QTEs on keyboard though sounds very difficult particularly because of how close the keys are

I know, the hypothetical situation was presented, though, so I thought I'd give it a stab.
