In a way, I'm kind of surprised this didn't already have a thread here. This thread is here for two reasons. One, I want to know who here has some experience with Photoshop. Two, for those who do have experience and use Photoshop on a regular basis, I'd like to see your very own creations. Currently, I'm working on a bit of a project myself, so unfortunately, I've nothing to show off as of now. So, put up some pictures. I'll be working at getting better with it, but until then, you might not see too much from me on this thread yet.

Like I mentioned earlier, I've got a project that I'm soon to start working on. The only problem is that I have zero experience with the program. Should I like it enough though, I'll likely start doing more here. And yes, an art post that is not Jhoney Sunglasses, FAGGOT!

I might have mentioned i'm pretty decent at Photoshop, and My dA account has drawings i've done, as for photo manipulation, I'm -alright- at it, but my sister is ten-times better.
Though I can do a pretty Snazzy Background if i'm pressed

I was alright at it before, but what I really liked doing back in the day was making animated gifs and stuff. It's a little different from Photoshop, but I used Photoshop in the process. I edited the pics in Photoshop, then went to a program called Animation Shop to make the gifs.

I used to have Photoshop and used it just to modify a couple of pictures and/or add titles to the logos for every skin in my site. If you like, I could show you that, but I don't own Photoshop anymore (it was Adobe Photoshop 7) because it sort of died on most of my tools so I downloaded Gimp instead. If it doesn't really matter, whenever I start working again on blending and making meshes for unique skins for sites, I could post up my progress?

Sounds like an idea to me. Seeing your work may help inspire me to do better, and help me get a grasp on what I can do.

:] sweet. Well, here's some of my crappy artwork. Enjoy. My name for MyYearbook: Original for Myspace: This little logo for my friend's website [crapppp, I could do better, I didn't feel like it. She loved it anyway.]: The name was just edited on this one and the size, slight [used Photoshop]: Same with this one: And a simple GIF icon about a rotating stick figure: Basic things so far. When I really get into it, I'll keep posting my progress.

Well, sorry for the double post (and ignore that this is not done in Photoshop but Gimp) but here's a little bit of progress. So far, I've been dedicating my time on working hard on skins for my site, and the most recent ones have had everything done by me except for the backgrounds. I won't work on those until I learn more tactics on how to use Gimp properly for more things, like blending pictures and such. here's the logo of the site I made (downloaded some cobweb brushes on DA): i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/littleemovampire/Cobweblogo.jpgthe icon that replaces the images for the folders and other icons in the main page view: i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/littleemovampire/Iconiconiconnnn.jpga preview of what the buttons for the browser bar basically look like: i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/littleemovampire/members.jpgand an icon I had made first for the web skin, realizing then that it's more about spiders than it is about bats itself. Still pretty though, so I kept it: i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/littleemovampire/dingbat.jpgThe color scheme for that skin was generally just black and white, so that's why everything is just a nuance of black and white. Lame, yes. and lastly (of the things I could find that I've made so far--the good ones, lol) I made this signature for a friend. She only gave me the picture of the girl in this signature, and I worked out the rest (and also resizing and deleting the black pixels from the original picture.) Enjoy: i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/littleemovampire/kaozsignature.jpg

I've been known to dabble. This is some of my early shit. Like this is all from high-school. Nothing too impressive. I was just having fun. I have them here with the original names i gave them: These first three pictures are part of a set I like to call "The 4" A Leader's Portrait A King in Thought Strange Friends This next one is just cropped and has some filters. But I think it looks cool. Socially Unavailable And these next two are the first concepts of what went on to fail as "The Metal Man" comic series. It's probably the worst of my work, but I wanted to look metal. Robot Pete Metal Man Art w/ BG and logo This next one almost shouldn't qualify as Photoshop, but I thought I'd share anyway. This was a picture taken by our very own Jake. All I did was make it black & white, and maybe trim it a little. I just wanted to comment on how young I look. Look how small that beard is! Also I happen to be wearing the much sought after "Vile Villain Hat". Amish Pete And there ya go. Feel free to comment on any of the pictures. Be a jerk like me if you want, I won't mind. If I can find any of my other work I'll be sure to post it.

I don't know why I don't have a fucked up Orville. Perhaps I should make one?

Do what you want to do, man. If Orville wasn't destined to have a weird image, then maybe that was meant to be. Or if you feel like making up for past negligence, then go for it.
