Pete's welcome to be apart of it, I wouldn't mind his opinion or help at all, since he did start the DFPDC.
But I do admit it's a little frustraiting about his hate about this.

I believe the project would be just as bad if I were in charge of it. You just don't have the means to pull of a serious film. Nor do you have the equipment to make it quality enough to be taken seriously. I just don't see anything good to be made here.
Okay it might be a bit better if I were in charge... Tee hee. (But seriously I want no part of this.)

Well, I'm willing to put the effort into it if things continue to get going. If I like the teaser, I'll certainly keep going..heck, if I don't like the teaser, I'll keep going. I have no other projects to do..

It's something to do pete, I do honestly think your more experienced then me, we're no budget, but that doesn't mean we can't pull something good out of this.

I think its easier to make comedy out of low budget, rather than a serious movie.
I'm just saying I would do something else.

My return would have to be far more triumphant than a few skits. I don't see myself doing anything really.
If I were to do a project it would be a return to the Metal Gear video. And I'd be surprised if you could convince me to even do that. I lost all the original footage(except for the footage used in "DAAAAH!"). It was a great project because I enjoyed the mass amount of editing required. Also it was nonsensical.
I really wouldn't try anything drama related or anything serious for that matter. Just because a bunch of bad actors with bad equipment would make for horrible drama. You would watch us try to be all serious, and you would wind up laughing because of how bad it is.

Maximum respect to anyone who actually reads all this crap I just wrote instead of spewing "TL;DR". I was randomly inspired, whatever and what not
Way to be a complete downer, Pete :c I don't think these guys want to make some Academy Award winning videos or something. When you get to the very bottom of it, it's filming something for the sheer fun and enjoyment of filming something. It's nice to make a video of some decent quality that can be enjoyed by not just the people who made it but the viewers too but you don't set out to make a movie and end up with off the top of my head Citizen Kane or Schindler's List on your first friggin try. You start small and work your way up, trying to better refine your filming skills which brings me to my feelings toward Revolver. Revolver is quite the project, it will require a budget for the props and equipment we don't have and we're just a small group and a video like this I believe would require crowd scenes and extras. Acting skills and understanding of how to film properly are also a requirement. There should be good dialogue and scenes, smooth flowing and not rigid and awkward. I again acknowledge that we're not looking to make an award winning performance but some basic skills should be had. This is why I still believe Revolver should unfortunately be placed on the production shelf until we have refined ourselves a bit more, that is if you guys wish to make something that is not completely and utterly bullshit trash that is melodramatic and corny for all the wrong reasons. Butch's idea to do those short skits would actually be great practice for refining ourselves. Just remember though, it's all in the fun and making something you can be proud of which brings me back again to Pete. I'm not sure if you're being serious anymore or if you're just trolling. You and I both know and I'm sure they know that anything we make will probably be low quality or just plain shitty to the outside viewer but it's shit you made, you can be proud of it as it's one step closer to making something decent. I hear you talking shit and stomping all over every idea that is had no matter if it's bad or if it has the potential but I see them at least ATTEMPTING. You're full of good ideas and are a great editor from what I've seen. Why do you continue to criticise and bring them down when you could instead help and make things better?

I need to be inspired. I need to feel I'm not making something too shitty. I need a camera. I need something that isn't Movie Maker.
I need things.

We have ideas, cameras, and a good editing program could be had. I really think we could have a blast again..Jake's post really hits home. We are attempting projects, but we need to look at the big picture and make those attempts legit.

Jake gets what the plan was. I want to do this because I personally feel passionate about the story and think we can produce something quality in the means of something we enjoy watching, not necessarily something we'll take to sundance. I'm proud to work with the DFPDC, and if you think it's to try and make money, Then you're going off on the wrong foot. On an off note. (Though Super props for Jake backing me up!) I'm trying to talk to Newgrounder JonCJG who produced the following track to use in one of the teaser videos though. www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/307120As far as skits go, Yeah, I'm willing to put Revolver's main production aside to get some practice in. The teaser videos are another sort of practice though.

Guys, guys, you are all forgetting what's really important. You all used to be together in one video-making group. Sure, Mike and Pete were the ones mainly involved because of the TV Production class, but the both of them made sure to encompass all of you in the filmmaking process. You guys made a video on Youtube with nearly 100,000 views, a comedic epic nearly ten minutes long, and you almost finished a well-edited Metal Gear spoof. Now that you all are separated, most of you have lost the level of interest you had in making films. I'm not saying you all are completely devoid of motivation, but ever since the DFPDC split up, it just hasn't been the same. Think of Queen after the death of Freddie Mercury. Some of you have attempted to make new movies, but the energy just hasn't been enough to make much. Now, a lot of you guys are attempting to take a stab at a large project, and I'm not sure you guys know what you are getting yourselves in. If you guys want rekindle the old flame you all used to have, you have two options: you can either put aside past issues and reunite and show the world once again what you're made of, or you can suspend your filming until you find some more people highly interested in filming and ready to get the project done at all costs. While the latter could work very well, I suggest reuniting and showing everyone what you got. You guys were unstoppable at your prime. The only thing that stopped you was time, and that's not a factor anymore. You have all the time in the world to make something beautiful. It doesn't have to be something currently planned. Perhaps you should set planned projects aside and come up with new ideas. Ideas devised by a reunited DFPDC at full strength. How 'bout it, guys? Ready to show the world what you're made of?

I'm not interested in doing Revolver at all... I never will be. It's just not a project i want to do.
If I were to do something it would probably be a project mainly involving me and Mike and Jake. Just like the old days. Now I'm not saying I wouldn't involve other people in this hypothetical project. I would. But the main writers would be those three. I would direct, edit, and act as a main cameraman. Mike would usually help write and direct. And Jake would have similar responsibilities. Everyone else would be my actors.
Now I'm not saying I'm going to return. I'm just saying those would be my conditions.
The only other thing I could see would be something of a collaboration. I could see myself making a short for your silly skit project. Something of a "special guest director" kind of deal.
I have taken the time to acquire Premiere. The only problem is I don't think it will run to well on this computer. I might be able to edit with it, I might not be able to. I don't know. I'll have to do some tests eventually.
Again, I'd like to point out I am in no way confirming a return. I'll let you know in the future after talking with Mike and Jake. Have a good day.
