Had me abit of an idea recently.
We have a few talented people at the DFPDC, and I was thinking of a partial drama thing we could do.
Synopsis:
Revolver is a more serious set of videos that revolve a set of people, I havn't thought of a concise story just yet, But throughout the story, there will only ever be six bullets fired. The bullet can be from any gun, but the video set ends with the fireing of the sixth bullet.
Any suggestions guys?

Very vague concept...I guess it could be looked into if more developed ideas were to arise.

Well, yeah. Part of the reason I put it up to see if DF could toss around ideas.

Alright, I was dealing with fleshing out the Revolver storyline. And we'll need a few people around the local DFPDC to give a hand, Here's a character list. If the people involved have a character they think would fit the part, go ahead and post here or hit me up. Think of it as an RP session. Only filmed and choreographed.
The story thus far. A usually dull community is facing an outbreak of what seems to be the flu. Many recover, some still lay in critical state. But others are exhibiting less then common symptoms. Increased speed, Agility, violent outbursts, and others seem to go beyond that, a few exhibiting signs of rabies. However it's never been contracted through bites or scratches, and this confounds scientists. All cases are marked as separate however, and while rumors are abound. There havn't been any attempts to contain it, as it is just a flu... right?
Requireing some further refining, there will be an organization covering this mess. And the protagonists are dead center of the conflict.
Protagonist #1: (The Rebel) He/She is a bit of a fighter, they wasn't raised in a bad neighborhood, but something drives them. Should be agile on his/her feet and willing to talk big and toss a few punches about. This character is also an adept fighter hand to hand
Protagonist #2: (The Brains) This one's a bit nerdy, science geek sort, He/she started noticing the trend and runs along the line of the story, and has already started making theories of what's going on. They can be outlandish or as down to earth as needed. This person isn't as good of a fighter as #1, but they're a bit of a weapon's hobbyist. Protagonist #3: (The Rival) Either a Rival or loose friend of #1. Sometimes they've sparred with each other in martial arts or some other hobby. Fighting wise, he's evenly matched with #1 hand to hand. He's a little more serious then The Rebel, but has a darker sense of humor. This character may/may not join forces with the antagonists. Depending on the time line the episode is on,
Antagonist 1: (The Agent) This man seems to be going about town and asking questions, he wears less then formal attire, but definitely dresses with a sense of style. In a few episodes, he might be talking to the protagonists, asking questions, and mentions a organization called "The Guild". Possibly for recruitment reasons. Oddly, He only seems to take notice of those who are infected with this flu like disease, and there are hints that he might as well be infected. He will be cold and calculating, but not outright evil. He fights with a calculated stance and a mix of moves.
Antagonist #2: (The Watcher) For one reason or another, this man/woman suffers from apparent severe paranoia. He/she suspects anyone who even looks at him, and lives on the fringes of society. They seems to know more about the goings on then first appears, and may help/hinder/harm the protagonists through the course of some of the timelines. They fight with a low stance, rabid and unforgiving
Antagonist #3: (The Vigilante): This man/woman is well respected in the community. But has taken it upon themself to start weeding out the severely infected, those that are a harm to others, Those that show any of the enhanced or rabid tendencies are public enemy number one. He's not much of a fighter hand to hand, but he's a fan of firearms.
Does anyone have any more suggestions for characters?

more like ZOMBIES RIGHT? Looking much better though honestly. I was skeptical at first when there wasn't much going but now that it's fleshed out more I've hope and am developing interest. I still say though that while this should be done, we should perhaps refine our skills a bit more. And this is something for overall we need to actually get out and execute our ideas but that's for discussion in another thread. REVOLVER COMING SOON? 20XX?? O: O: O:

No, i agree, I don't want to release this unless it's polished and nice. But this makes for a good brainstorming thread.

Any ideas can be posted to Butch's post via modification to keep everything organized as well. I think we can discuss an overview of characters, but obviously spoilers must be kept secret. haha, 6 characters so far, by the way. I think a few more would be nice to add in, of course....6 main characters would be neat though. Some other character ideas: Tough, streetwise friend Person that changes personalities depending on mood Femme/male fatale THE GOVERNMENT RUINING EVERYTHING The failure guy that always fails The longtime town local. More character ideas to come..

The character's i posted would be consitered the main characters, but they're very much draft players.
I like the ideas mike's posted, and I'll be making a modified overview soon.

Pitch:
During the Salem Witch Trials of 1692, there was a lot of religious blindness. Break it all down, and you find a hunt of those who prospered in hard times.
Nearly three hundred years later, a government agency tapped into the underlying cause to that bloody chapter of history. It was not witchcraft or demonology. It was a simple, single celled amoebae.
This parasite existed in the town's well, and spread to the townsfolk over time. In most cases, it lead to flu like symptoms, enough to put many people in bed with severe chest pains and difficulty breathing.
However, not everyone got sick. Those with just the right biological coding, the right genetic sequence fell ill for a day, and made a quick recovery. They found they had more stamina, beyond normal, some claimed to know the future, the others could react fast enough to seem like they did. The prosecution started, blaming demons and devil worshiping for this sudden stroke of luck, and that's where the lines of truth and beyond truth fade away.
Human ingenuity and several charred bodies destroyed almost all of the parasitic amoebae, but human ingenuity reared it's ugly head once more, and revived this disease.
Not perfect by any means, perhaps a reproduction or a shoddy knock off, this clone of a mysterious microbe was introduced to the water supply of a city, in hopes that those with the 'right stuff' could be weeded out, and recruited into a newly forming black-ops corps, Known only as Project Salem on paper.
Perfectly Imperfect, a ruinous design through and through.
This is Revolver, a Story of "What Ifs"

Sounds like a cheesy historical conspiracy theory plot, but those aren't in any way bad. Well, not bad in the wrong way. It could be a really serious drama, but campy and cheesy to a certain degree. i can see it. Of course, further talks and tweaks should be done first before beginning.
